The company is developing and improving its products, working on multiple projects simultaneously. These include a multifunctional tool covering weather data, meteorological instruments, yachting, and AI technologies.
Now entering a new phase of product development and transitioning from cross-functional squads to domain ownership, Windy.app is looking for a key leader to take charge of the retention and core product direction. It is about a deep, systemic understanding of user behavior, segmentation, and long-term value. The key goal is to make the app an essential tool for users and drive deeper engagement.
What you are expected to do**:**
- Analyze subscription retention cohorts, segment the audience, and develop hypotheses to improve engagement and LTV.
- Collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve product retention.
- Define and prioritize the core product backlog in alignment with cross-functional teams.
- Run user research (interviews, usability testing) and turn insights into product improvements.
- Launch product experiments end-to-end: from research to rollout, with a focus on metrics and risk management.
What you need to succeed**:**
- 5+ years of product management experience in B2C, ideally mobile subscription-based products.
- Strong analytical and technical mindset: comfortable working with product data at a granular level.
- Strong proficiency with mobile analytics tools, A/B testing, and key metrics (LTV, CAC, CR, etc.).
- Proven track record of driving retention through UX improvements and audience segmentation.
- Hands-on and proactive: not limited to planning and strategy — you execute.
