After a successful Series A round, Praktika.ai is scaling up quickly and building out its product and design teams to support some pretty ambitious growth goals. The app brings together AI-powered conversation, voice recognition, personalisation, and gamified experiences to make language learning feel more like chatting with a friend than sitting in a classroom.

What matters most to the company is retention, which means design plays a huge role in helping users feel their progress and stay excited about using the app.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Collaborating closely with the Design Team and Chief Product Officer.
• Developing a cohesive graphic style for the product and brand.
• Creating icons, illustrations, email designs, social media visuals, and article artwork.
• Supporting the evolution of Praktika’s brand identity across digital touchpoints as the company grows and undergoes a redesign.

Work distribution: 80% in-app graphics, 10% communication graphics, 10% miscellaneous (events, screenshots, etc.).

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Strong illustration design background, with the ability to create compelling visuals for apps, social media, email, and editorial content.
• High attention to detail, ensuring pixel-perfect design and consistent branding.
• Knowledge of brand systems and design guidelines.
• Excellent command of English, along with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven experience at Series B/C-stage startups or top-tier design agencies.
