The founders are serial entrepreneurs in ed-tech and experienced in mobile app development (MEL Science, Fresco Labs, Inquisitive, ex-Yandex). They're passionate about the industry's potential and infuse their enthusiasm into the company. Targeting intermediate and advanced learners, Glite is developing an app designed to make high-quality education more accessible. Right now, the company is in the early stages, working on a prototype, and plans to roll out a basic version by the end of the year.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Create intuitive, visually appealing UI/UX for Glite's app, ensuring an engaging experience for advanced language learners.
• Work with co-founders to align product vision and user needs, shaping design strategy.
• Develop design specs, wireframes, and prototypes to convey concepts effectively.
• Design and refine app visuals, including icons and animations, to maintain brand consistency.
• Create content pages and social media assets to maintain brand identity across all platforms.
• Manage and direct freelance designers and contributors to ensure design work meets company goals and standards.
• Collect and apply user feedback and testing data to improve the user experience.
• Recruit and onboard new team members to support project needs and company expansion.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• A strong portfolio showcasing mobile app designs with complex user journeys.
• Proficiency in design tools and methods to create user-focused solutions balancing innovation and practicality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an office-based team environment.
